Hi, I’m Maria Nunes – the human behind the scenes. Filmmaker at heart and passionate about design, this is a project created for my freelance work.
Experience
Started in 2017, in Porto (Portugal), where I worked mainly within the cultural sector – documentaries, branded videos, music videos and events. From 2018 to 2020, I was the videographer of the official candidacy of Braga to European Capital of Culture 2027, documenting the city’s cultural scene.
Moved to Stockholm in 2020 and became a videographer for Northvolt – a sustainable battery manufacturer, supporting the communications department with video and documentaries.
In 2022 the freelance journey takes a new shape, collaborating with international wildlife and biodiversity non-profits.
